How do we book you to secure our date?
Start by filling out the form on my Contact Page. If your date is open in my diary, I will invite you to a relaxed consultation call (or an in-person chat if you are local to South Wales) so we can get to know each other and ensure we are a perfect fit. Your date is officially locked in once I receive your signed contract and your £150 non-refundable booking retainer.
Can you hold a date for us while we decide?
Following our initial consultation, I will happily hold your wedding date for 7 days to give you time to look over the contract and arrange your retainer. If another couple enquires about your exact date during this window, I will always contact you first, giving you the opportunity to secure it before the date is released.
What happens if you haven't photographed our venue before?
This is never an issue. I approach every single celebration with a considered, documentary mindset—prioritising natural lighting, composition, and emotional atmosphere over rigid, pre-planned setups. I always familiarise myself thoroughly with a new venue's layout on the day.
If you are marrying near my base in South Wales, I am always happy to arrange a venue walkthrough with you in advance.
How long will it take to receive our wedding photographs?
You will receive a beautiful curated selection of digital sneak peeks sent directly to you within 24 to 48 hours of your wedding day. Your complete, high-resolution digital download gallery will be fully polished and delivered within 8 weeks.
Are you fully insured?
Yes, absolutely. Awen Tân Photography is fully covered by comprehensive Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. If your venue requires a copy of my insurance certificates prior to the wedding day, just let me know and I will gladly send them over
What happens if your camera breaks on the day?
Total redundancy is built into my workflow. I shoot with a professional dual-card-slot camera system, meaning every single photograph is instantly backed up to two separate memory cards the split second it is taken. I also carry fully redundant backup camera bodies and lenses in my kit bag, ensuring that equipment failure will never interrupt the visual documentation of your story.
When will our balance be due?
The final balance for all signature collections—including short-coverage elopements and micro-weddings—is due strictly 30 days before your date. This ensures all administrative details, timelines, and logistics are completely locked in so you can relax and enjoy the final weeks leading up to your celebration.
